Art Appreciation Gallery Night!

Wednesday, March 11, 2015, 6:00 - 8:00pm, Gym

Come join us for our annual Art Appreciation Gallery Night!  Our students have worked hard all year on these creative Art Appreciation projects, so bring the family to enjoy a night of art appreciation, face painting and crafts.  Each grade level and class will have their art projects beautifully displayed for parents to view with their student.  Kids love seeing their art on display, so we hope you can join the fun!
Class Art Projects featured in the 2015 PTA Cookbook will also be on display at the Gallery Night.  These wonderful projects will be auctioned off online in April, so get an early view before they go to auction!

Thank you to our motivated Art Appreciation Volunteers for developing art lessons every month for each classroom.  Come and enjoy the fun artwork, refreshments and socializing with other families.  If you have any questions, please contact us at

Library News

Lucky Reader - March is the time of year when students often lag behind in their reading.  The weather gets better, spring is on the way and social time begins to trump reading time.  Lucky Reader is a fun way to encourage students to keep reading.  I check out a variety of books from Spanish and English fiction, nonfiction, and everybody shelves to a patron named "Lucky Reader" and then put them back on the shelves. Unknowingly, a student may choose to read one of these books and when they check out a note pops up on the computer that says it's already checked out to Lucky Reader.  Surprise!  The student checks out their book AND wins a free book to keep.  Lucky Reader runs from the 1st week of March until Spring Break.  Are you a Lucky Reader?

Collecting ink cartridges and cell phones

We are still collecting old cell phones and empty printer cartridges of any size.  Our library gets points and cash for these items, so don't forget to collect them at your home or office and drop them off in the library.  No toner cartridges please.

Lost and Found: Time to Purge!
Please remember to check the Lost and Found!!  All unclaimed items and clothing without names will be donated on Friday, April 3rd!!
