Library News: Sock Gather Competition

Thanks to our wonderful Student Council and the entire Puesta del Sol Community for helping with our Sock Drive for a men's shelter.  In a mere two weeks we gathered a mountain of socks - 1,317 pairs!   Sra. Toni's class brought in the most socks with 180 pairs and is the winner of the Golden Sock Award. Student Council members worked hard collecting, counting and tallying the socks from each classroom.  The shelter was overwhelmed with the donation!  Thank you for your participation and acts of kindness to those less fortunate.

Start CLIPPING and
SAVING Box Tops!

The new year will bring another Puesta del Sol Box Top competition between grade levels. Start saving those Box Tops from your holiday shopping so your kiddos can bring them to school once the competition begins. Look for details in a future El Sol edition.

Each Box Top is worth 10¢ for our school! That adds up FAST! The last two years we raised over $1,300. Can we reach $1,000 in a year?

Clip, save & have your kiddos drop them in Box Top box located in the school office on the PTA table to the right of the door.
