Playworks: Parent Volunteers Needed

Kelley Lee, our Dean of Students is in need of parent volunteers to assist during lunch recess/every day with Playworks implementation.  She needs two parents that are perhaps teachers and interested in committing to working with students during lunch recess. Please email [email protected] if you are interested.
Emergency Committee: Volunteers Needed
Kelley Lee, our Dean of Students, is creating an Emergency Committee.  Meetings would take place once a month.  Parents would work with teachers in regard to their emergency bin/inventory, check that forms are correct and current, etc.  Timeline on that would be no more than a couple of hours to initially put things in place.  After that just a half an hour here and there during the school year to ensure that process is in place (under the directive of the Dean).  Please email [email protected] if you are interested.

Remember to Submit your Dining for Dinero Receipts!

RAD Challenge Yields Over 500,000 Reading Minutes!

Congratulations on finishing up RAD, our school's 6-week reading challenge! Students from across the school have enjoyed reading countless stories and books, and our hope is that the habit of reading for pleasure will carry on and become a life-long treasure. While it is not about "the minutes," it is amazing to see that our school has read over 500,000 minutes in the past six weeks and that is not even our final total!

Thank you to all of the volunteers who went into the classrooms each week to read aloud to our students.

Books should come home with your student next week, and stand-out readers will be recognized at the assembly on December 2. Lee Ms!"
