School Directory: Did you receive yours?

Due to a confusion between paper and online submissions there will be an addendum sent home with students before Thanksgiving. If you would like to be included please email [email protected] ASAP.

Directories went home with one student in each family this week. If you did not receive yours, please check your student's backpack and with their teacher.

If your family did not receive one, please email Laura Dooley [email protected]. If you received more than one, please send the extra back. If you pre-ordered a second directory and did not receive it, email Laura. Extra copies are $5 while supplies last.

Authentic Assessment

Monday, November 18, 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
WISC - Rainier Room

How do students respond to assessments and grading practices designed to measure their mastery of specific skills? And how are these techniques implemented? Join Sammamish High School Teacher Ian Duncan to hear how he and other teachers at Sammamish are using collaboration and culturally responsive instructional methods to build bridges from students to the standards they are attempting to master. They are empowering students to be successful and the initial results are incredible.

Complimentary lunch will be provided by the Foundation and the students in Newport High School's Culinary Arts Program. Please register in advance at bellevueschoolsfoundation.org.

This event is part of Education Connections, a speaker series provided as a community service by the Bellevue Schools Foundation.
