Walkathon News

The 2013 Walkathon was a Huge Success!

The Puesta del Sol students walked over 13,000 laps-that's almost 1500 miles! We are well on our way to our goal of $40,000-keep those donations and pledges coming in.

Huge thank you's to the Walkathon committee: Yella Appleby, Lori Bawden, Mendi Carroll, Jinny Cocorocchia, Dana Dang, James & Laura Dooley, Alicia Filippini, Mary Fredericksen, Kim Gray, Rebecca & Peter Hamilton, Stacy Weigel, Alison Lowe, Jane McKinstry, Michele Sager, Hillary Salmieri,  Katherine Snead, and Sandi & Bob Tampa.

Muchas gracias to the amazing volunteers who helped with food, photos, lap counting, water, bake sale, music, set up and clean up, communications, raffle...the list goes on and on because it takes a village to put on something this wonderful.

Special thanks to magnificent Principal Adrienne Nestor and Lisa Dembo & Julee Seibel, our superb new PTA presidents.

We have some positions to fill next year: Committee co-chairs & Volunteer Coordinator. Come on board, make the Walkathon new, fresh, exciting-YOURS!
