Out of state groups are wishing us a very Unhappy New Year! By pushing something they call "Right to work" Unions and Union members will be harmed. But what is this so-called "right to work"?
"Right to Work" is Wrong!
As discussed in the last newsletter, some Wisconsin legislators are proposing so-called "Right to Work" legislation at the prompting of out of state special interest groups. They may call it "right to work," but the legislation isn't what it seems. These bills are designed to drive down wages and bust unions. Just like they did with Act 10, these changes aren't to the benefit of any of us who work for a living! Read on for what "right to work" legislation may mean for Wisconsin and what you can do to have your voice heard.

Here are the facts
"Right to Work" legislation doesn't do anything for workers, but it is another giveaway to corporate interests.
We want you to tell YOUR legislator that you oppose so-called "Right to Work" legislation. Call the State Legislative Hotline at 800-362-9472 or the Madison Area Legislative Hotline at 608-266-9960.
