The Boy Scouts have voted to end the ban on Gay Adults...
While individual units chartered by religious institutions will still have the opportunity to turn away gay adults, discrimination by non-religious units, districts, and councils, based on sexual orientation is prohibited. The youth membership policy remains unchanged. (No youth may be denied membership solely on the basis of sexual orientation.)
Congratulations! Working together we made this happen. It's a new day for scouting in America, so lets go out and promote our scouting program.
