Why is Community based solution necessary?

Bullying occurs everywhere -- at school, church, sports programs and even youth programs like scouting.  With the expansion of social media nowhere is safe.

Most bullying occurs when adults are not around.  Kids won't talk about it.  Adults won't talk about it.  We need to make this a community where we are willing to talk about it.  We need to empower our children to no longer standby in silence or just walk away.  We need to feel comfortable speaking up.

The following resources promote a community based approach:

If you see or know of someone being bullied you are already involved.

The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing.
