I know there was a lot of disappointment earlier this week. But we are so much closer than we were on January 27th. I know it doesn't feel like it but we really do have a lot to celebrate.
National stated that they want to change the policy. The President of the United States announced that he supported our cause. On Tuesday Eric Andresen, Steve Tennant, their sons, and several scouts from Troop 57 were on the CBS Nightly News with Scott Pelley.

A survey of Americans shows that 55% think the BSA should admit gays versus 33% that we shouldn't and 12% don't care or have no opinion.

And even though they are on the opposite side, The Salt Lake Council actually stood up for their volunteers, which after all, is what we want our council to do for us.
I don't know what will happen next. Right now we are gathering information from as many sources as possible. This includes you. Over the last two weeks what do you think worked well, what did you disagree with? What do you think we should do next? What would you like to do to help?
