Update - Letter Writing
We are currently co-ordinating a letter writing campaign to provide additional material for the council to pass on to national. We have sent out a preliminary e-mail to all of the adult leaders in the Aklan, Meridian, and Herms districts asking if they would like to sign the next version of the e-mail. We have sent the final version to Aklan and Meridian, asking the adult leaders to pass it on to their members.
We need help contacting adult leaders in the other districts (and the SFBAC). If you know anyone who might be interested in helping please forward this e-mail and ask them to contact me.
I also sent the e-mail to those of you who weren't on the adult leader list so you can help pass it along.
I am also making a library of sample letters, so please send me a copy when you write a letter.

This article explains the events leading up to Ryan's dismissal from the boy scouts. It's from his parents point of view. (I like the paragraph about troop 234 the best, and I am so proud of our PLC* for deciding to write that letter.)
