Did you know: Luther's wind turbine is capable of producing more electricity than we can use on campus when the wind is strong enough. Sunny, breezy days are great times to charge your computer or phone, do laundry, or cook a meal! When you use electricity produced by Luther, Luther doesn't use electricity produced by dirty coal plants. The excess energy produced by the turbine is fed back to the grid and used in Decorah.
