Acclaimed lawyer, author and human rights activist Bryan Stevenson will present the Farwell Distinguished Lecture: American Injustice: Mercy, Humanity, and Making a Difference at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, in the Center for Faith and Life, Main Hall. Stevenson will also host a conversation at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, in the Center for Faith and Life Recital Hall. Join in a conversation about What can WE do to foster racial justice?

Bringing some of the best improv comedians
from the legendary Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York and Los Angeles, UCB TourCo will take Luther College by comedic storm at 7 p.m. Friday, February 26. The show, held in Marty's, also features Luther's own improve group, Top Banana. The show includes four improvisers performing a high-energy, surprising and hilarious 90-minute show with no planning done beforehand.

The Diversity Center is again hosting the Ethnic Arts Festival on March 5.  Guest can visit the Country Fair in the Williams Lounge of Dahl Centennial Union from 1-4 p.m., taste ethnic cuisine in Peace Dining Room from 4:30 to 6:30 and enjoy lively entertainment in the Center for Faith and Life starting at 7:00 p.m.  Tickets are needed only for food and are available in the Luther Ticket Office or at the door. The Summer Housing Office is hiring! There are several spots available this summer for responsible, enthusiastic, and outgoing individuals. Duties include facilitating client registrations, answering telephones, providing basic information about Luther/Decorah, and more. We want students with excellent communication skills, a strong ability to work independently and take direction from peers, and a focus on providing excellent customer service. Luther's LARGEST CAREER FAIR ever! There will be almost 50 organizations attending the SPRING CAREER FAIR on Thursday, March 3 from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. in the Dahl Centennial Union. Representatives will be here to visit with students from all majors about their internships and full-time career opportunities. You won't want to miss this one! Hosted by the Career Center.

JOB SHADOW PROGRAM - open to all students! Are you interested in exploring a certain occupation? Unsure about your major or career goal? Get an inside look at the day-to-day activities of professionals working in a field that interests you. All shadow sites will be in Decorah for your convenience! Stop by the Career Center (2nd Floor Union) for more information and to sign up.

The Development Office is seeking applicants to assist office staff with daily duties and special projects for the 2016-2017 year. Daily work includes stuffing mailings, assisting with electronic filing, helping answer the phone and run errands on campus. Interested candidates should have attention to detail, customer service skills, honesty, discretion, the ability to follow exact processes, learn quickly, and to collaborate with others. The offices of Student Activities Council (SAC) and Student Organizations are seeking students to work in our offices during the 2016-2017 year.Daily work consists of assisting the SAC Exec Board, and other various office staff to perform basic office duties. Tasks may include constructing advertisements for SAC events, working with Google Drive and Microsoft programs, and other typical office tasks.
