Come be a part of an evening of Irish celebration with Celtic Nights on Thursday, February 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the CFL. The Center Stage Series is proud to present this singing and dancing ensemble that embraces traditional Celtic influence to bring to life the story of the fight for Irish independence. Luther students, faculty and staff are invited to an overnight retreat at Good Earth Village in Spring Valley, MN, hosted by Career Center & College Ministries. "Being of Service to Others: What's Your Story?" will offer opportunity for vocational reflection and conversation. SAC Spotlight and Diversity Center are proud to present the "End of Racism Comedy and Lecture Tour" featuring Preacher Moss. As an African American and Muslim comedian, Preacher Moss brings a unique blend of sincerity, intellect, social commentary and humor to the stage. Upright Citizens Brigade Tour Company will perform in Marty's on Friday, February 26 at 7:30 p.m.! SUMMER CAMP FAIR - this Thursday, February 18, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Many camps attending this Fair were not here at last week's Camp Fair. Plan to stop by and visit with the representatives about their summer staff opportunities. 

How do cooperators engage with racial justice, gentrification, climate change, and more? Aynah, a student group focused on cooperative education, will be taking a spring break trip to the San Francisco Bay Area to try to answer this question! Focusing on the professional identity of nurses and other healthcare workers, cultural and applied anthropologist Heidi Bludau will discuss the global migration of healthcare workers at 4 p.m. Monday, February 22, in Valders Hall of Science, Room 362.

Miko Kominami, Luther College instructor of music, and Timothy Hankewich, music director of Orchestra Iowa, will perform a piano recital, "Beethoven: The Last Three Sonatas," at 4 p.m. Sunday, February 21, in the Noble Recital Hall, Jenson-Noble Hall of Music.

Luther College alumnus Justin Knoepfel will perform a guest viola recital at 4 p.m. Saturday, February 20, in the Noble Recital Hall of the Jenson-Noble Hall of Music. Following the recital, Knoepfel will give a lecture, "Discerning a Vocation in Music," in the Choir Room of the Jenson-Noble Hall of Music.

At Work in the World! Saturday, February 20, 4:00-6:00 p.m. Hovde Room, Preus Library. Conversation "stations" with Luther grads on how they have put their English majors to good use in writing, editing, marketing, teaching, librarianship, and arts administration.

Join the Conversation: Addressing Islamophobia on college campuses - Stories of anti-Muslim bigotry seem to be everywhere. The New York Times recently reported that crimes against Muslim Americans have risen sharply since the terrorist attacks in Paris and San Bernardino. Join the Interfaith Youth Core for their online discussion Wednesday, February 17 at 12 noon in Mott Room. Participants will learn how different campuses have effectively responded to incidents of Islamophobia and religious hate and how to proactively build inclusive environments.

From their respective disciplines of chemistry and social work, Brad Chamberlain and Britt Rhodes will discuss what they see changing and remaining the same in their lives, disciplines and institution. The lecture, titled "Identity and the Academy: Embracing Change," will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 16
, in the Center for Faith and Life, Recial Hall. A reception will follow in Qualley Lounge.

Reflecting his experience and relationship to Norway, artist Josh Black's installation titled, "Let Go," will be on display February 13-March 8.
A reception will take place at 4:00 p.m. Friday, February 12, in the Wigley-Fleming Fine Arts Gallery.
