Luther Lights - With the help of LaCrosse consulting company Michaels Energy and a number of student volunteers, Luther completed a comprehensive lighting survey across campus in 2014-2015. Every classroom, office, and open space was evaluated for enhanced energy reduction features, including occupancy sensors, day lighting, and multi-level switching. This evaluation also paved the way for future energy efficiency initiatives such as LED lighting for offices and public spaces.
