Luther College's Visual and Performing Art department presents the play "Love and Information" by Caryl Churchill and directed by Bob Larson. The performances, held in the Jewel Theatre in the Center for the Arts on the Luther campus, are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, October 15; 7:30 p.m. Friday, October 16; and 1:30 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, October 17.
Interested in Studying Abroad in Norway? Three Representatives from Telemark University College in Bo, Norway will be on campus this Wednesday through Friday! SAC Cinema presents Mr. Holmes (2015) - Thursday, October 8 in Valders 206. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., show starts at 8:00 p.m. Free popcorn while supplies last. Set in 1947, a long-retired Holmes is living in a Sussex, with his housekeeper and rising detective son. But then he finds himself haunted by an unsolved 30-year old case. Holmes only remembers fragments of the case: a confrontation with an angry husband, a secret bond with his beautiful but unstable wife.

Kicking off Homecoming week, SAC Homecoming will host Open Mic Night at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 7 in Marty's. Open Mic Night gives talented students the opportunity to showcase their abilities for their peers.
Luther alumni Andrew Stenson and Emily Fons will be presenting career talks at Luther in October. Stenson, class of 2008, will speak at 9:40 a.m. Thursday, October 8, and Fons, class of 2006, will speak at 9:40 a.m. Thursday, October 15. Both career talks will be held in the Noble Recital Hall of the Jenson-Noble Hall of Music.
Serving as artist-in-residence for the 2016 Oneota Film Festival, Jonathan Rattner will present a guest lecture and film screening at 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, in the Valders Hall of Science, Room 206. Sarah Brandt was the winner of the "Singing with the Broadway Stars" competition, part of the Center Stage Series performance of "Neil Berg's '100 Years of Broadway.'" The competition, sponsored and judged by the cast of the show, invited Luther College students and local residents to audition to sing with the cast during the September 18 show in the Center for Faith and Life.
