Special Notice

"Naked" Sports

As the end of the year approaches, students are reminded of the consequences should they be arrested for participation in "naked" soccer or other activities. Local law enforcement will be patrolling the campus in the weeks ahead.

Students who are arrested under Iowa Criminal Code, 701.2, a public offense, may be taken into physical custody and/or receive a citation. This arrest could appear in a criminal background check associated with future employment opportunities. If cited for indecent exposure, a student may also have to file as a registered sex offender.

For seniors, the college has recently approved the following sanctions related to Commencement. In addition to their arrest, seniors will be restricted from full participation in the Commencement ceremony.  Although they will be able to process and recess with the class (at the end of the line) and sit for the program, they will not be called to the stage.
