Gratitude for Mary and Martin McAleese. We would like to invite you to write your own letter of thanks to Mary and Martin McAleese for their visit and what impact it had for Luther and/or you personally. "Live each day, have fun and be a human being" is the motto that Esther Bauer decided to follow every day following her liberation from the Nazi party in the 1940s. Bauer will present the lecture "Living History: A Holocaust Survivor Story" at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, in the Main Hall of the Center for Faith and Life. Sponsored by SAC Leadership.

"Where There Were Many" a collaborative "growing" exhibit by artists Katie Hargrave and Amber Ginsburg, and Luther College Art 111 3D Processes students, taught by Joe Madrigal, will be on display March 24-April 29, in the Wigley-Fleming Gallery in the Center for the Arts.

A gallery reception for the artists will be held from 4-5:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 30.   

The Luther College Piano Quartet will present a recital at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, in the Noble Recital Hall of the Jenson-Noble Hall of Music. The program opens with Mozart's Piano Quartet in G minor, followed by Antonin Dvorak's Miniatures for String Trio, and concludes with Robert Schumann's Piano Quartet in E-flat major

Free tickets are still available for all faculty, staff, and students not participating in the Messiah concert on Friday, March 27 at 7:30 p.m. in the CFL. Hear the story of Jesus as told by the music of G.F. Handel. Directed by Dr. Allen Hightower, participants include student soloists, Cathedral Choir, Collegiate Chorale, Nordic Choir, and Symphony Orchestra. Tickets available to the general public as well for $20/adult and $10/student. All tickets are available at the Ticket Office. 

Seniors: Are you interested in furthering your education in advertising, journalism or communication? Iowa State University Greenlee School of Journalist & Communication will have a representative on campus on Friday, March 27 at an information table in the Union Lounge from 12:00-4:00 p.m. Stop by and visit with them. Access to the Regents Center will switch over to card access beginning March 23,2015. The purpose for moving to card access is to limit the number of non-campus members using the facilities without proper authorization.  It is important for us to manage who is utilizing the facility and equipment.

All of the entrance doors to the facility will be locked, except for the south entrance (while the building is open for community hours), and the ramp door by room 305, (8am to 5pm M-F.) Faculty, staff and students will be required to have their Luther College ID card to access the building from the doors that have card readers. The readers will be programmed to allow access during normal building hours for most people.

Starting on March 23rd, if you do not have your ID, please plan on using the south lobby entrance.
