The Luther Aquatic Center is hiring summer lifeguards. Must have all lifeguarding certifications current.  Please email Lance Huber with questions. Non-Luther students to qualify for these positions.

 

Luther College will host the annual 
Trash to Treasures
sale from 7-9:30 a.m. and 4-6 p.m. Friday, May 23 and 7 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Monday, May 26 in the Ashmore-Jewell Barn near Baker Village.
 
The Luther College Concert Band and Jazz Orchestra will perform in concert together at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 24, in the Main Hall of the Center for Faith and Life. Joan deAlbuquerque, director of bands and associate professor of music, directs the Concert Band and Juan Tony Guzm�n, associate professor of music and director of the jazz program, directs the Jazz Orchestra.
 

The Luther College Nordic Choir and Symphony Orchestra will perform in concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 23, in the Main Hall of the Center for Faith and Life. Allen Hightower, Luther director of choral activities and professor of music, directs the Nordic Choir and Daniel Baldwin, Luther professor of music, directs the Symphony Orchestra.

 

Summer Pool Hours for the Luther Aquatic Center starting June 2nd: Weekdays-Lap Swim 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.; Closed weekends.

Pool will be closed from May 24-31 in preparation for the summer hours.

 

RERUNS

 

The community is invited to Baccalaureate, Saturday, May 24, 

8:00 p.m. in the CFL. This ecumenical service celebrates the college's Christian heritage and the spiritual diversity of the community by incorporating readings and prayers from religious traditions of the graduating class. The Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board has selected Luther students Kirsten Jacobson, class of 2012; Kimberly Rooney, class of 2014; and Becca Rudquist, class of 2014, to receive Fulbright awards for the 2014-15 academic year. The highly competitive Fulbright foreign scholarship award provides funds for a year's educational experience abroad, including travel, health insurance and a monthly stipend to cover living expenses.

Sunday: 11 a.m. - Midnight

Monday-Wednesday: 7:30 a.m. - Midnight

Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Friday: 8 AM - 5 p.m.

Saturday: Closed

 

Note: The library's main floor will remain open for an additional hour of general study until 1 a.m. Sunday-Wednesday during Finals Week. However, all LIS services, including the Circulation Desk and the Research Help Desk, will close at midnight.

 

 

Summer Hours (beginning May 25)

Monday-Friday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Saturday-Sunday: Closed
