Findlay Signs Up!
The Sonoco Protective Solutions Plant in Findlay, OH recently received a new sign for the facility.

"The sign brought smiles to the faces of the employees as they felt like they were part of the Sonoco family," said Rod Williams, Findlay plant manager.

The Findlay plant came with the Createc acquisition, but had never received a Tegrant sign, so this Sonoco sign is an important step in integrating the new Protective Division into the greater Sonoco.

Board of Directors Visits Music City USA

The Sonoco Board of directors visited Nashville, TN on Wednesday, July 17th to take a tour of the plant there.

Vicki Arthur, VP of Protective Solutions said, "Earlier that day, I had told the Board how success in Sonoco's legacy Protective Packaging business lead to the acquisition of Tegrant; and to the assembling of what is now a combined business unit totaling $460 million."

"Consumer Protective is a $160 million segment of this combined business and is made up of products like SonoPosts, SonoBases, EPS, and Integrated Materials," Vicki continued. "The Board was able to see the manufacturing process for SonoPosts, and to see the extensive lab in Nashville where many new projects, combining all different types of materials, are being developed and tested for our customers."

Please contact Roberta Ferguson for details.
