MMBC - Ministry of Environment Recycling Legislation
BC Chamber of Commerce took members concerns to the Minister of Environment and MMBC. In order to be exempt businesses must fall under 1 or more of the following thresholds:
- Single Point of Retail
- Under $1 Million Gross Revenue
- Under 1 ton of printing or packaging produced
We have asked the BC Chamber to go back to the Ministry requesting the thresholds be written into the legislation and that companies meeting the threshold requirements be exempt from having to register with MMBC as well.
