Please Respond regarding: Independent Investigations Office 
of BC 
 
The Independent Investigations Office (IIO)  is mandated to conduct investigations into police-related incidents of death or serious harm.  
The IIO has committed to hosting community meetings across the province to ensure that communities are well informed of their mandate, operations and investigative structure and to answer any questions that those attending may wish to ask. 
 
The Chief Civilian Director Richard Rosenthal of the IIO has asked to present to the Fort Nelson Chamber of Commerce membership on Wed. August 14 at 12:00 pm
 
We need to confirm if there are enough interested members to hold this meeting - please respond by Wednesday July 3 to admin@fortnelsonchamber.com indicating whether you will attend.

Annual 'Fun in the Sun' Golf Tournament

 

We had a great day with nothing but "Fun in the Sun"  - thanks to all the golfers we enjoyed a sold out tournament and a great afternoon.  

 
Congratulations to the Ron Glaves Team who won the tournament after a chip off with the Boston Pizza Team.  Congratulations to the NOV Wilson team for winning the Chamber Challenge sponsored by CAT - The Rental Store.  

 

Thank you to Terry and everyone at our beautiful Poplar Hills Golf Course.  Everyone enjoyed Terry's Barbecue Steak Dinners Sponsored by NAPA Auto Parts.

Recycling Round-Ups not just for residents.  Businesses are welcome to participate. 

Bring your paper, cardboard, plastic & save dumping fees.   Recycling Round-Ups are the 2nd Saturday of every month
