All Candidates Forum - April 23, 2013
Fort Nelson Chamber of Commerce presents an All Candidates Forum on
April 23rd at 7:00 pm at the Phoenix Theatre.
General Voting Day for the next scheduled general election is Tuesday, May 14, 2013.

NRRM signs Infrastructure Agreement with Province.
Pat Pimm and Mayor Streeper announced the NRRM has signed a landmark agreement with the province which will provide up to $10 million per year for 20 years starting in 2015.

Funds must be spent on infrastructure projects and must go to referendum.

CN Rail Cuts Service to Fort Nelson
On February 16 CN Rail cut service to Fort Nelson without notice and has now announced further planned cut backs. See letter to CN Rail from the Chamber of Commerce.
