HORN RIVER BASIN PRODUCERS GROUP MEETING

 

Representatives from the Chamber of Commerce and NRRM met with the Horn River Basin Producers Group on November 6th.  The Chamber stressed the need for producers to ensure local business receive work opportunities.  As part of the discussion we asked producers for their support of a Community Based Business Certification platform which will provide local community based businesses with a more efficient process to recieve notificaiton of work opportunities.  Work is currently progressing on the qualifications required to be certified as local and we expect the platform to be available soon.
