My spirit agenda
Av Karin Mæland
This calendar helps you bring the inspiration of yoga with you everywhere.
Pictures, mythological stories and illustrations are tied together to form unique glimpses of the vastness and richness of the yoga tradition. We hope it will be a bright spark in your yoga lifestyle. Karin, Nicki and Basia About the Creators Karin is the initiator of the agenda and the writer of the mythological stories. She learnt the stories from her teacher in India, Vijaya Kumar Manja, with whom she spent almost 3 years studying ashtanga yoga, philosophy and Sanskrit. She is a dedicated yoga practitioner, asana instructor as well as a yoga philosophy teacher who passionately shares the mythology, literature, the lifestyle and philosophy that weaves into the tradition of yoga. When in Norway, Karin practices and teaches at Puro Yoga. She also works part time as a medical doctor. Regularly she goes back to India to feel the inspiration of the true home of yoga. Nicki Twang photographed the various women and men found in this book. Loved by the yoga community, Nicki is a yoga practitioner and a well known photographer in Norway for yoga-related projects. He has worked as a photographer since 1998 including contracts with the press, advertising agencies, publishing companies, yoga studios and photo agencies such as Scanpix.
