Greetings!

We arrived in Washington DC late last night for EnaMarie's 4th birthday weekend. We were "moon gazing" on the way down, and as the car turned, we couldn't find the moon.  James (we brought a few Akron grandchildren with us for the celebration) had an explanation.  "The Moon's mother had a baby, and the Moon had to go visit the baby." Since James' mom is expecting a new baby and he is going to be a first time big brother, "new life" is on James' mind most of the time.  Children  are so precious.

We are God's children - even when we are adults- and so very  precious to Him.  WE are on God's mind all of the time.  Even when we are out of "sight", He knows where we are and He is looking for us to just turn and glance in His direction so He can impart His wisdom and love into our mind (our thoughts) and heart (our ability to love like Him)  and soul (our conscience, sensitivity to the things of God)  and actions (use of our time - making a  "to do" list,  how we do our work, how we react to stress and hurts and wrongdoing , how we treat others and ourself).

Our Scripture Quiz isn't about "getting it right", but about having more of the mind and heart of God with us all of the time. It's about our "glance in His direction" and our personal connection and our sensitivity to the Holy Spirit of God.

Fill in all of the blanks in Section One

Bonus Quiz in Section Two.

Scripture answers in Section Three for review.

If you get 100% on section one or/and section two (you can have as many tries as you want), send me an email and your name will go into a hat for a drawing by the grandchildren, at 12pm on Saturday.  There will be one winner from section one and one from section two.

A copy of Father Jonathan's new book, God Wants You Happy, signed by him, will be sent to the two winners.   I used to be a teacher, and we always had "rewards". Hope you have fun!  O Happy Lent!

Our other Scriptures will be quized on the last day of Just For Lent.
