Spring Meeting March 30-31, 2015

[NOTE: Registration Information for the Spring Meeting to be published later today]

Save the Dates: Monday March 30 and Tuesday March 31 will bring the NYPGA 2015 Spring Meeting to Troy NY and the Hilton Garden Inn on Hoosick Street. Monday's activities will begin at Noon and Tuesday will be an "all day" event ending with a sponsored cocktail party late afternoon/early evening.

Paraco Kosco

Kingston Oil Supply Corp. (Kosco) announced the sale of it Propane Division, and a Strategic Alliance of its Fuel Oil Division, with Paraco Gas Corp. in late January.

Kingston Oil Supply Corp. (Kosco), a full service retail propane gas and heating oil company based in Hudson Valley, New York, is pleased to announce the sale of their propane division and the formation of a strategic alliance for their fuel oil division with local and family owned Paraco Gas Corporation.

The sale of Kosco's propane division to Paraco Gas includes service to 9,000 existing Kosco propane accounts that use approximately 3.4 million gallons of propane annually. In addition, the two companies announced the strategic alliance of the 10 million gallon (11,500 customers) Kosco fuel oil business with Paraco. The sale and alliance will offer various benefits to both companies' customers, as well as an array of products and services. Customers can expect to further benefit from marketing and energy programs.

Paraco Gas is a family owned and operated business and the largest independent propane supplier in the Northeast. Paraco has been servicing the Hudson Valley, New York area for over 40 years and Kosco for nearly 60 years, bringing their combined years of value-added service to close to 100. Kingston Oil Supply Corp. will continue to operate under the familiar, longstanding Kosco brand that has been providing energy products and exceptional services to residential, commercial and industrial customers in the Hudson Valley for nearly seven decades under the leadership of the Motzkin family. Barry Motzkin will continue to oversee the Kosco fuel oil operation, carrying on the tradition of outstanding customer service that his family has offered Kosco customers since 1956.

Joseph Armentano, CEO of Paraco Gas, said, "Kosco was very selective about which company they would align themselves with and ultimately chose Paraco because of our long tradition of operating excellence, expertise in the energy market and a deep commitment to our customers and the communities we serve."
