"Fund Our Schools" Rally

Wear Blue And Bring A "Fund Our Schools" Sign.

Dear PTA Leader:

As a 28 year member of PTA in Fairfax County I've seen and experienced many ups and downs when it comes to the education of our children.  I believe in taking stands for what is right for our students, teachers, and parent/family members.  FCCPTA works to keep you informed of pre

ssing issues, changes in policy, and other areas of concerns.

I need your help in spreading our message to "Fund Our Schools" today.  Our students, teachers and other FCPS employees need your help.  Many of us moved to Fairfax because of the quality school system.  Businesses move here because of the schools.  Now, more than ever, we need to stand together to assure the quality education we want all our children to enjoy.

I encourage you to join me and other FCCPTA members at the "Fund Our Schools" rally on Tuesday, February 25 at 9 AM  at the Fairfax Government Center, 12000 Government Center Pkwy, Fairfax, VA 22035.  We welcome parents, grandparents, teachers, retired teachers, toddlers (we need our students to remain in class on this date), and anyone else who cares about the quality education we desire in Fairfax County.

We ask you to wear any shade of blue clothing and bring a "Fund Our Schools" sign.  Meet us in front of the Government Center and take a stand for our children.

Additional information is included in this e-blast and also on our website at www.fccpta.org.  Also, we share information on our facebook page at www.facebook.com/FairfaxCountyCouncilPTA.  Please direct your email questions to: David Edelman, Budget Chair, davidedelman@verizon.net, Pam Kondé. Vice President of Advocacy, pkonde@cox.net, or Ramona Morrow, President, president@fccpta.org.

I look forward to seeing a sea of blue on Tuesday, February 25.  Please join me in this important advocacy event.

Warm Regards,

Ramona Morrow

President, FCCPTA
