ACTION ITEMS:

FCCPTA Executive Officers will participate in a Parent Leadership Focus Group meeting tomorrow (Wednesday, Dec. 5) along with representatives of the Superintendent Parent Advisory Council.

HYA will present to the School Board a draft of the Leadership Profile Report during the Regular School Board Meeting scheduled for Thursday, December 20.

There will be a second round of Community Forums on January 9, 10, 14, and 15.  On January 30, the School Board will finalize the desired characteristics following a review of the final Leadership Profile Report.
The Executive Committee of the FCCPTA strongly encourages you to participate fully in this very important process to select the next Superintendent for our Fairfax County Public Schools.  We will provide more information about the second round of Community Forums along with the draft Leadership Profile Report when the information becomes available.

Sincerely,
