As we work toward a more inclusive community, a more inclusive society, there are signs that we are headed toward widespread recognition that our diversity is one of the things that make this a great country. The recent Supreme Court ruling affirming our rights to religious accommodation in the workplace was certainly a giant step in the right direction.

This webinar is a collaborative effort between the DHS Center for Faith-based & Neighborhood Partnerships, a center of the White House Office of Faith-based & Neighborhood Partnerships and the Federal Emergency Management Agency to help connect faith-based and community organizations with tools, resources, and partners to help prepare their houses of worship for all hazards, including active shooter incidents.

Religious Diversity Media Contest 

Young people ages 10 - 18 years of age are encouraged to enter this video competition! 

 

Create a video message 5 minutes or less that addresses the question of religious diversity and interfaith understanding to be eligible for these awards:

1st place- $500 2nd place- $300 3rd place- $200

All videos must be the original work of a single young person or a group of young people no older than 18 years old. 

 

 

Videos should be submitted to Meredith Skowronski:
meredith.skowronski@gmail.com by October 2nd, 2015 for consideration. 

 

Awards will be announced and presented at the IFLC Annual Awards Dinner on October 14th, 2015.
