Robert Bruttell addresses MUC annual dinner

In many faiths, congregations are created by groups of people who are alike, not only in their religious beliefs, but also in their culture. Immigrant populations have always tended to create small, comfortable enclaves of religious and ethnic homogeneity in their new homes. And metro Detroit's Muslim community was not the exception. But in 1993, a community made up of Muslims from around the world was given a single roof under which everyone could gather and celebrate their common faith while sharing their cultural diversity.

IFLC Annual Awards Dinner

October 14, 2015

Each year, we gather to honor some of our community's exceptional activists, raise funds for our community outreach, religious literacy and conciliation efforts, and enjoy an evening with our interfaith friends.

This year, the IFLC annual dinner will be October 14th at Shriners Silver Garden in Southfield.  A pre-dinner interfaith reception begins at 5:30 pm with the dinner program beginning promptly at 6:30 pm. We hope to see you there. We are pleased to share this year's honorees with you, and we look forward to honoring them and hearing from them at the dinner. We hope you'll join us.
