In February, IHDF-NY took 60 high school Dreamers on a college trip that spanned three days, five campuses, and over 450 miles. Our Dreamers enjoyed getting to experience what college life outside of New York City would be like. In this newsletter, a Dreamer and a Sponsor reflect on the trip:

Adding Color to the College Canvas

"As 62 Dreamers and six Program Directors from the Chelsea-Elliott, DeHostos-Wise, and Ravenswood cohorts boarded the buses en route to Upstate New York on Wednesday, February 19, there was a feeling that this was truly going to be a college trip like no other--this would be the tipping point for Dreamers to move one step closer to college and finalize the metamorphoses into Dreamer Scholars."  Read more >>

College Application Advice from Senior Dreamers
 
Ricardo Mejias and Jonathan Ortiz, Dreamers from our DeHostos Wise program, have worked diligently to submit college applications over the past couple months.
