Merry Christmas from
Romania!

Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Dear Praying Friends and Family,

We hope your holiday season is off to a good start, even if it's not looking like a "white Christmas" where you are! We had some beautiful snow here yesterday but itmelted quickly. It was still fun to enjoy while it lasted. .

We'd like to give you a quick update regarding our upcoming plans and ask for your prayers. We are leaving tomorrow to travel to Vienna, Austria. Tim and Lori Ford, from Serve leadership, will be there as well. We look forward to a time of fellowship and refreshment, plus discussing plans for future ministry in Eastern Europe.

We will return to Timisoara on December 9th, then fly to London on December 11th for a trip back to Texas. We will be home through January and hope to see as many of you as we can. We'd love to update you and share what God is doing in Romania.

Also, we look forward to the Serve Missions conference at Denton Bible Church, and hope you will join us for the all-church portion on January 18-19.  (See more information below.)

Please lift us up to the Lord if He brings us to your mind.

Pray for:

  • Safe, uncomplicated travel, driving to/from Austria Dec 5 - 9.
  • Our travel back to the states, leaving Timisoara on December 11th . After we arrive in London, we will fly stand-by to DFW. Pray that God places us on the flight He chooses.
  • Our time with the Austria team, that we learn and grow in Him.
  • Pray for the upcoming Missions Conference, that many hearts are stirred toward missions and we have a wonderful "family reunion," glorifying Him.
  • Our time with family and Hannah and Kip who are expecting their first baby in January.
  • PRAY FOR ROMANIA - elections here are on December 9th, and several men who profess to be Christians, are running for higher offices. Pray that God turns this country back to Him.

We praise God for you and are so thankful for your support, encouragement and prayers!  Have a blessed Christmas season!
