NEW BOARD AND OFFICERS ANNOUNCED

The Valpo Chamber is proud to announce its Executive Board Committee members for 2016. Randy Zromkoski, Blachly, Tabor, Bozik & Hartman, will serve as Valpo Chamber Board Chair and Tim Warner, Centier Bank, will serve as Chair Elect.
In addition to Zromkoski and Warner, Pat McGinley, Horizon Bank, will serve as Treasurer; Wes Kotys, The Kotys Group, Vice-Chair of Small Business Engagement; Jack Elia, Blue Chip Casino, Hotel & Spa, Vice-Chair of Member Services; Todd Leeth, Hoeppner Wagner & Evans, Vice-Chair of Public Policy and Karen Johnson, Lakeshore Bone & Joint Institute, Vice-Chair of Special Events.
New members to the Board are Chris Chatfield, First Merchants Bank; Dawn Collins, Century 21 Executive Realty; Tom Long, NITCO; Matt Vessely, 1st Source Bank.
The 2016 Board of Directors also includes Joe Coar, Tonn and Blank Construction, Inc; Mayor Jon Costas, City of Valparaiso (ex-officio); Darron Farha, Valparaiso University; Jim Johnson, Power Transmission Solutions - Regal Beloit America, Inc.; Stephen Lunn, Porter Health Care System; Craig Menne, General Insurance Services, Inc.; Gene Novello, Teachers Credit Union; Donna Phelps, Seasons on the Square; Brenda Sheetz, Porter County Community Foundation; Michael Sobeck, Fifth Third Bank; Gary Taylor, KENPRO Cleaning Services, Inc.; and John Walsh, Heat Wagon, Inc.
For over 100 years, the Greater Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce has been promoting the interests of its members by providing the highest quality information, advocacy, networking opportunities, and member services. The Valpo Chamber is one of the larger chamber organizations in the area with more than 750 members representing entrepreneurial companies, financiers, and professional firms as well as many small local establishments.

Another year is over and another great time was celebrated at the Valpo Chamber's Holiday Open House. Over 250 people were in attendance to celebrate the season on December 3.
This event is such a special way to kick off the holidays in Valpo!

LEGISLATIVE HOTLINE DATES ANNOUNCED

All Valpo Chamber members are invited to attend the Valpo Chamber Legislative Hotline program beginning in January 2016. These legislative briefings give members an opportunity to hear firsthand about legislation being proposed and enacted in Indianapolis.
State Senators and House Representatives for Porter County and representatives of the Duneland and Portage Chambers of Commerce are either in attendance or present via conference call during these programs.
Valpo Chamber Legislative Hotline events begin at 7:30 a.m. and are held at the Chamber office, located at 162 W Lincolnway, and are open to all chamber members at no cost.
