Thursday, October 15, from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., the Porter County Chamber Coalition will host the largest business-to-business networking event in the region.
 Last year, over 1,000 business professionals toured the Porter County Expo Center looking for the best new products and services offered in Porter County. The event is free to attend, so make sure you mark your calendar, because if you do business in Porter County, this is where you need to be!

The Power of YOUR Stories is the topic for the Fall Quarterly Membership Luncheon!
What do these three people all have in common? Stephen Colbert, Tina Fey, and Steve Zelechoski...
They are all students of the famous Second City Improv Center in Chicago!
What do they NOT have in common? While Stephen Colbert and Tina Fey spent months and years at Second City, Steve Zelechoski simply participated in a 5-day improv workshop two years ago. More importantly, Stephen Colbert and Tina Fey are world-renowned entertainers, earning millions of dollars each year for their shows and movies.
Steve Zelechoski is not an entertainer, nor does he make millions of dollars each year. But, like those first two people, he understands the importance of storytelling. Not on the big or small screen, but in the conversations you have everyday with your clients, co-workers, and everyone else you need to influence. During his upcoming talk, you'll hear about The Power of YOUR Stories to better communicate with those around you.
For the past four years, Steve has worked as an independent sales training consultant, training Fortune 500 Sales Reps on the importance of storytelling in their customer conversations.
Join us on Tuesday, October 13, at the Valparaiso University Harre Union, as Steve brings the Power of YOUR Stories to the Valpo Chamber.

These forms are mailed each year to make sure our database is the most up-to-date it can be. It is very important for you to return this verification form to our office. We want to make sure you continue to receive information from us and we want to make sure we are giving out correct information to individuals and businesses who call with needs of goods and services.
Verification forms are only sent to the key contact person for each member business.

On Tuesday, October 27, the Valpo Chamber once again is organizing a Candidate Forum, providing candidates an opportunity to express their positions on various issues before the November elections.
All candidates for contested races in Valparaiso will be invited to attend.
This free event will take place from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at the Memorial Opera House, 104 Indiana Ave.
