1st Grade Chalkboard Drawing by Miss Wilde
We look forward to celebrating the change of seasons at the Winter Spiral Walk that will take place tomorrow evening (12/11) at 5:15pm for Kindergarten. Grades 1-8 students' Spiral Walk will take place in the MPR on 12/15-17 during school hours. Read about Spiral Walk on our blog.
MATH IS AS EASY AS PIE
7th and 8th graders put their math skills to work this week during their Sweetie Pie business where they sold and prepared over 500 pies and fillings. We want to thank the numerous parents who made the experience possible and the Pradhan Studios for capturing the action:

A "BALANCED" EDUCATION
As part of a "balance" block in our Games classes, Miss Joy recently introduced Rolla Bolla and slack lines. Rolla Bolla is a classic circus skill used in circuses around the world that builds agility and balance, as well as confidence. It's also a lot of fun! Next week a tight rope will be set up.

SANTA LUCIA DAY FOR GRADE 2
The 2nd grade curriculum brings lessons of inspiring individuals in history who dedicated their lives to a higher purpose. The students will soon celebrate the life of Lucia, an Italian woman known for her kindness and love. In the Santa Lucia Procession, 2nd graders visit the grades' classes singing the traditional Lucia song and delivering sweet rolls. Read more about the 2nd grade curriculum on our website.
