JOURNEY EDUCATORS IN THE NEWS
On 3/27, Journey Kindergarten teacher and Waldorf mentor, Ms. Hellene, joined the Association for Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA) and the Alliance for Public Waldorf Education (the Alliance) as they announced a collaborative licensing agreement, which grants the use of the service mark Public Waldorf to the Alliance. Read about this important collaboration on the Alliance website. Also featured on the site are Journey educators, Patti Connolly and Diana Graber, for their work on limiting screentime.

HELP THE CHILDREN IN NEPAL
The Journey School community is joining the efforts of UNICEF in support of the nearly one million children affected by the earthquake in Nepal. Send spare change to school with your child through May 8th or mention "Journey School" when eating at Nirvana Grille in Laguna on a Sunday in May from 5-9pm (reservations needed) and they will kickback 10% to our fundraiser. The mission of the Journey School Foundation is to support, sustain and grow Journey School. To learn more about the Foundation, visit our website. All are welcome to attend Foundation Board meetings on the 2nd Monday of each month at 6pm in the Development Office.
TALENT SHOW IS JUNE 6TH

Students in grades 4-8 will offer gifts of music, dance and poetry at the annual Journey School Talent Show on June 6. Dinner at 6, Show at 6:45. Auditions start 5/12. Look for details in your room parent email.
