As you may know, the OC Sheriff's Department received an anonymous threat yesterday which caused numerous lock-downs at CUSD campuses in the late afternoon. Journey School students were already in their parents' care when events unfolded. Although no threat was targeted at Journey School or other Aliso Viejo campuses, we take all threats seriously. We also take prevention measures seriously. Look for emergency procedures on the website in the coming days as we use this experience to strengthen school-wide protocols. COME SUPPORT OUR CHARTER SCHOOL
|
CUSD is Journey's authorizing agency. The CUSD Board will hear public comment regarding Journey's 5-year renewal on Wed., 3/11 at 7pm. We anticipate that the amicable process experienced thus far will continue as a spirit of mutual respect and collaboration clearly exists between the school and district. All parents and friends are invited to attend. No problems or concerns are anticipated. We simply want to express our thanks, unity and school spirit.
- Arrive by 6:45
- Wear Journey School T-Shirts, if you like
- Sit at the front of the right side of the room
- Out of respect for CUSD, we have pre-selected a few representatives to speak on our behalf. Our portion of the meeting is scheduled at the very beginning.
