8TH GRADE PROJECTS SPARK LIFELONG LEARNING & SUCCESS
|
Emmy will help us Rethink Dyslexia. Tiana will teach about Upcycling. Spencer will examine the Other Side of Food. Bella will explore the benefits of being vegan, vegetarian or omnivorous. Learn about Criminal Surveillance from Jake, Animal Cruelty from Suha, Body Boarding from Bryce, and much more, during the 8th Grade Project presentations to showcase 6/4-6/6.
The 8th grade projects are relevant, rigorous, and something the students long remember. Alumnus, Sophie, will graduate with honors from Carlsbad High School in a few weeks and then head to UC Santa Cruz in the fall. While at Journey, Sophie presented on Diabetes for her project, and shares her latest high school lesson below. | An Alternative SeaWorld |

OAK & ACORN NEEDS YOUR JOURNEY T-SHIRTS
|
Are your Journey School shirts no longer being worn? Are they getting just a wee bit short and tight? Are they in good or better condition? If yes, then consider donating them to the Journey School Store! We are also looking for very good condition--or better--used clothing in all kids sizes that are solid colors or dress-code friendly. As a reminder, the store is operated by volunteers who don't benefit financially and are volunteering out of their love for Journey, so please support their efforts.
