STRONG TEACHERS, STRONG SCHOOLS

When Journey launched its self-initiated turn-around effort 5 years ago, 7 research-based priorities guided our work. Placing a highly competent and caring teacher in every classroom was at the top of the list. We're pleased to report the mission is accomplished! Hiring has concluded for next year. Our teacher retention rate is now 100%. Click here to view Main Class Teacher bios. All staff bios will soon be published.

Journey is already searching for outstanding educators to serve in 2015-16. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply online now, as important apprentice opportunities may be available. Qualifications include: Valid CA Teaching Credential, Waldorf Certification, strong teacher track record, a high joy-factor, emotional maturity, and a relentless drive for excellence.

STUDENTS AND ALUMNI MAKING NEWS
Journey students and alumni are doing great things in school and the community. Their efforts could fill many newsletters. So, we will feature their stories on the Journey School blog with more frequency.
