 Don't miss out on these student-made apple pies, which are freshly frozen to make great gifts for the holidays. Students launched this pie business several years ago as a culminating math project, and this year's 7th and 8th graders are carrying on the tradition. Over 200 pies have been ordered already. We're hoping to DOUBLE that amount by Sunday. Please order online today so the students may plan accordingly.

On Thursday, 1/16 at 6:30pm Journey parent, David Lines, will present on Transcendental Meditation for students, parents and teachers. Research has shown that TM improves children's learning ability and alertness, increases creativity, and reduces stress and anxiety. TM is natural and enjoyable and is not a belief or a philosophy. Shaheer Faltas says "I have learned and practice TM and I am convinced that any student, parent or teacher would benefit from it." Click here to see what Dr. Oz has to say about TM.

This week's attendance rate is 95.62%. The week prior to Thanksgiving was 95.61%. Let's avoid a drop in attendance in the coming days as the holidays approach. Please don't head for vacation early. Also, it's essential that students attend every class all day as each Specialty Class at Journey is highly valued.
