Sibling Camper

2015 is off to a great start! We just wrapped up our Sibling Camper Weekend and the Campers had a BLAST! The sibling campers were able to bond with other children who know what it's like to have a seriously ill brother or sister. Check out the pictures on our Facebook Page.

Pack those bags campers, Respiratory Camper Weekend is just around the corner. We are excited to welcome 22 Campers April 24-26. Follow us on Facebook to see the photos.

The average cost to send a child to camp is $1,500, please consider becoming a Camper Sponsor. 100% of every dollar donated to Camp Soaring Eagle goes directly to our camping programs because our administrative costs are covered by our Board of Directors.

Together, we can deliver the healing power of laughter.

Congratulations to our 2014 Volunteer Award Winners
Together we will make a difference!

Camp would not be possible if it weren't for the dedication of our volunteers. We would like to recognize four special people who went above and beyond for our Campers in 2014. Read More...

Meet Ariana

Ariana's friends at school don't understand how hard it is to have a sibling with a serious illness, but her new friends at camp do!

My name is Ariana; I was born on March 3, 2004, and am 11 years old. I love acro, crafts and math. I live in a small town in Fort Mohave, Arizona with my mom, dad, dog, and three brothers. My oldest brother Freddy was diagnosed with type-1 diabetes 3 years ago.

The first camp that I attended was Sibling Camp in 2014. My favorite activities at camp are horseback riding and fishing. That was my first time doing both of those activities.

At camp, I met other kids who had siblings with type 1 diabetes. It is important to me to meet other kids who understand what I go through. My friends at school don't understand what I go through like the kids at camp do. I live in a small town and people don't understand type 1 diabetes, I worry a lot about my brother. Camp soaring eagle means a lot to me, they are like my second family. Someday, when I get older, I would like to give back to Camp Soaring Eagle and others with illnesses by volunteering to be a camp leader because Camp Soaring Eagle has done a lot for my family.

Thank you to all the donors that have made it possible for kids like me to go to Camp Soaring Eagle.
