Classic statuary looks even better when displayed in an old-fashioned garden. Phyllis Goodsen and Dave Eckles' home in historic downtown Wilmington is the perfect setting for their garden art, which includes the Olympian god, Hermes (above), as well as several representations of the Seasons (originally done as 3 or 4 goddesses, but later creted in a series of four young males as well).
Dave and Phyllis recently added two whippet statues to guard their entrance gate (and to hang out with their lovely pet whippets, Elizabeth and Audrey).
