The Parenting Network would not exist without the support of various community and corporate partners. We recently received grants
from US Bank Foundation, Target, and United Way of Greater Milwaukee. We also want to thank Alternative Advertising for their assistance with our Welcome, Baby! onesie project. Goodbye and Thank You to Tom Weber!
In May, after ten years of service to The Parenting Network, Tom Weber officially retired from his position as Program Director. Tom joined the agency in 2002 after taking an early retirement from the Elmbrook School District where he taught 5th and 6th grade for over 30 years. Although Tom is known to his coworkers and students as die hard Wisconsin Badgers fan and aviation enthusiast, it is clear that Tom cherishes one thing above all: his family. In retirement, Tom is looking forward to spending more time with his wife, Nancy; his daughters, Gretchen and Karla; and granddaughters, Leah and Scarlett. Tom, however, doesn't expect to relax anytime soon. Aside from Nancy's lengthy "honey do" list, he will be busy. Tom will remain employed at The Parenting Network in a very part-time role. He will continue to facilitate one section of Positive Parenting and continue with Becoming A Love and Logic Parent. Thank you for your service, Tom!
