When Teacher Sarah Fritz took the job at Betances Early Reading Lab School, she accepted the condition that her Second Grade classroom would be videotaped (as part of the school's innovative professional development strategy). As it turned out, the instant replays of her lessons certainly have helped to sharpen her skills, she says, but there have been some additional - even surprising - benefits from the videos.
