Tiffany Mitchell of the Law and Government Academy (center) is President of that Senate.

The Hartford Board of Education welcomed two high school student representatives to its body and approved three newly-named school leaders Tuesday night, but there also were some familiar challenges at hand.

Montessori School parents from the Annie Fisher and Moylan programs were counting on the expansion of the program to the 7th grade this fall. Now that the necessary State funding has delayed final planning, they don't like it.
