When Hartford Hospital President and CEO Jeff Flaks pointed to the connection between more education and better health, he added yet another dimension to the job preparedness, regional economic strength, social costs, and civic participation arguments for college readiness. Clearly, with the Hartford Promise scholarships, everyone has some skin in this particular game.
