More than 20 teams of Minnesota based entrepreneurs are advancing into the finalist round of the 2016 MN Cup competition. The Agricultural Utilization Research Institute sends sincere congratulation to all three finalists in this year's Food/Ag/Beverage Division.
NIFA Announces $8.3 Million in Available Funding to Support Innovative Small Businesses
The U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) today announced more than $8.3 million in available funding to support small businesses in the creation of advanced research and development projects that will lead to innovative solutions for American agriculture. This funding is available through the Small Business Innovation Research program, administered by NIFA.
Noteworthy: Congratulations to AURI's Senior Director of Strategy Management Lisa Gjersvik and Senior Director of Operations & Finance Adam Stratton on being accepted into the Minnesota Agriculture & Rural Leadership's Class IX. With this distinction, Lisa and Adam will now embark on a dynamic two-year educational experience featuring nine three-day in-state seminars, a six-day national study seminar and a 10- to 14-day international study seminar.
