St. Michael's Country Fair
Attending a country day fair is a great way to start the summer season.

St. Michael's of the Valley Episcopal Church, Route 381, Rector, PA, will hold its 64th Annual Country Day Fair, Saturday, June 7, 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Fun for all ages can be found at the fair. Children can enjoy pony rides, face painting, games, and a special puppet show. Treasures can be found in Connie's Closet, Used Books, White Elephant, and the always popular rummage sale. If you are looking for something extra special, visit the Potting Shed, the African jewelry booth or the American Girl doll clothes table.

Bring your appetite when you visit the fair. Of course, the famous mushroom sandwiches will be available, along with Smokehouse Grille specialties, strawberry shortcake, and crepes. The Deli Booth will offer a variety of baked goods, sandwiches, and freshly made salads.

As you are enjoying your visit to the fair, One Accord, an acclaimed jazz group from Pittsburgh, will be playing music for your listening pleasure. Plan to visit the fair on June 7, rain or shine. Proceeds from this event will benefit local charities.
