1for50 Highlights:

 

AN AMAZING YEAR:  2012 was a great year for 1for50 activity, as 20 new national groups began working together on 1for50 training initiatives. Nearly 50 leaders from about 30 nations attended the Annual Trainer's Retreat & Orientation last May in Chiang Mai. Several nations have adopted 1for50 as a key strategy for working together to reach & disciple their nations' children. 1for50 training materials were translated into 4 new languages in 2012. What a privilege to be working together!

MEXICO TOT:  50 leaders from across Mexico, all from different
organizations and denominations met in late September for a Training of Trainers. "Amazing training in Mexico City!  Mexicans wants to learn more from different contexts and strategies how to work better with children!" Leaders have returned to their regions to implement more serious and lasting training in ministry to children.    
 
BETHEL SEMINARY & INCM ADVANCED CERTIFICATE OFFERED: Two US based groups have partnered together to offer an advanced certificate in children's ministry. They use the 1 for 50 hand as the framework for training! "I am excited to see a partnership around the globe in providing advanced training in Children's Ministry!" says Denise Muir-Kjesbo of Bethel Seminary's Children & Family Ministry program.

AND MORE:  Leaders are training, meeting together, meeting with pastors, writing curriculum, and sharing resources in Zimbabwe, Nigeria, India, Bangladesh, Myanmar and more!

1for50 Training of Trainers (TOT) for Francophone Africa. Leaders from more than 12 nations are participating and considering how to work together for the future of their nation's children.

INDONESIA 1for50 TOT
February 22-March 18 (3 different locations)
Follow up TOT trainings to build upon vision-casting and initial CORE training given in 2012.

1for50 ANNUAL RETREAT & SUMMIT
June 2-4, 2013 (Bogota, Colombia)
The annual retreat will include work groups, trainer's orientation for getting started in your context, stories, encouragement, celebration and more!
