Wow! 6,055 Children!
On April 18, 1954 the first child came in to care at The Children's Home of Lubbock.
Over the next 60 years, over 6,000 children have been cared for by the Home. On any given day, some 145 kiddos are served by the various programs at the Home, either in our residential programs or in Foster Homes throughout the community and region.
Many of these beautiful children had been abused, neglected, or abandoned before coming to The Children's Home, where they found a place of safety and a place to call Home.
It is a tribute to our community, churches, individuals and other financial partners that, through your support, this agency has been able to follow it's mission {Manifesting Christ Through Excellence in Child Care) and serve so many boys and girls.
On Friday, April 18, 2014 we celebrate 60 years of caring for children! This has happened because of God's blessings and because of the support of people like you.
Thank you for 6o years of home, hope, and partnership with very generous donors, all for the sake of these little ones.
